Report #019 – Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

Scott the Dot‘s latest postcard is a bit… salty?

Greetings from Salar de Uyuni!

Wish you were here, standing on this vast, shimmering salt flat that stretches as far as the eye can see. It’s like stepping into a sparkling wonderland!

The ground beneath my feet is covered in a thick layer of salt, glistening under the bright sun. I can’t help but feel like I’m walking on a giant mirror, reflecting the infinite sky above. It’s a sight that words can’t quite capture!

But that’s not all – during the rainy season, a thin layer of water covers the salt flat, turning it into a massive natural mirror. The reflection of the sky and clouds creates a surreal and dreamlike scene. It’s as if I’m walking on the sky itself!

The beauty here is beyond imagination. The salt flat seems to go on forever, with its mesmerizing white expanse contrasting against the blue sky.

Next week – another Scott the Dot Anecdote!
