We’ve just received another postcard from Scott the Dot and this time he’s visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris!

My next stop in Paris was the Eiffel tower, which is over 300 meters tall. That’s more than 6 olympic swimming pools stacked on top of each other!

The Eiffel tower is made of 18,038 iron parts which are held together with 2,500,000 rivets. With all that metal you might worry about lightning striking it, and you’d be right – there are on average 5 impacts every year!

I even managed to secure a small replica of the tower to be placed in ShapeShire.
